Purpose of the Application
Undroid Mail is a specialized email client designed for users operating within managed network environments that utilize strict content filtering and custom security certificates, where standard email protocols (such as IMAP and SMTP) are blocked or unsupported.
Key Features & Functionality
- HTTPS Communication: Connects securely via the official Gmail REST API over HTTPS.
- Inbox Management: Enables users to view their inbox, read email threads, and organize messages using labels.
- Compose & Send: Allows users to compose, reply to, and send emails directly from their account.
- Mailbox Organization: Supports marking messages as read/unread, archiving threads, and moving unwanted emails to trash.
How We Use Google User Data
Undroid Mail requests access to your Gmail account via Google OAuth solely to provide the email client functionality described above. Traffic passes through the Undroid filtering service the user joined, which filters content such as images. We do not store email content on our servers, and we do not share or sell it. See the Privacy Policy.
